Terms of Use

Welcome to Anemoia. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Anemoia website, applications, interactive experiences, features, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

AI-generated or AI-assisted dialogue, images, stories, recommendations, and other content;

user choices that influence an experience;
virtual memories, achievements, collectibles, objects, or other digital elements;

paid experiences, subscriptions, credits, or other digital products.

Anemoia is an entertainment product. Stories, characters, conversations, relationships, events, locations, messages, memories, and other experiences presented through the Service may be fictional, simulated, generated, modified, or enhanced using artificial intelligence. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they should not be understood as representations of real events.

2. Age Requirement — Adults Only

Anemoia is intended exclusively for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, and at least the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that age is higher than 18, to create an account or use the Service. By using Anemoia, you represent and warrant that you satisfy this requirement.

We may use reasonable age-assurance or age-verification measures where required or appropriate. We reserve the right to request additional verification, restrict access, suspend an account, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that a user does not meet the applicable age requirement. Do not use Anemoia if you are under 18.

3. Fictional Characters and Experiences

Anemoia creates simulated experiences. Characters appearing in Anemoia may communicate, react, remember previous interactions, appear to have personalities or emotions, and respond dynamically to your choices. Unless explicitly identified otherwise, these characters are fictional or simulated. They are not real people communicating with you.

A character’s statements, reactions, affection, opinions, memories, or emotions are part of an interactive entertainment experience and should not be interpreted as statements or feelings of an actual person. Anemoia does not guarantee that generated dialogue or narrative content will always be accurate, consistent, realistic, appropriate, or factually correct.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Certain portions of the Service may be created, personalized, ranked, recommended, or modified using artificial intelligence and other automated systems. AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, incomplete, inconsistent, or offensive. You should exercise your own judgment when interacting with generated content.

Anemoia does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, professional, or other regulated advice. Nothing communicated by an AI-generated character should be relied upon as such advice.

5. Personalization and Recommendations

Anemoia may personalize your experience based on information such as choices you make within stories, characters or experiences you interact with, content you view, memories or experiences you save, preferences you provide, previous interactions with the Service, and general usage signals. These signals may affect which characters, stories, locations, scenes, experiences, or other content are presented to you.

Personalization is designed to make the entertainment experience more relevant and coherent. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional information or controls relating to recommendation and personalization systems.

6. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

You may not:

sell or transfer your account without our permission;
create accounts using false identities for fraudulent purposes;
impersonate another person;
obtain unauthorized access to another user’s account;
use automated systems to create or operate accounts in violation of these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You may use Anemoia only for lawful personal entertainment purposes. You must not use the Service to violate applicable law or regulations; exploit, harm, groom, sexualize, or endanger minors; request, create, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving minors; depict a real person in sexually explicit or intimate content without that person’s consent; create deceptive intimate imagery or non-consensual sexual deepfakes; stalk, threaten, harass, blackmail, extort, or abuse another person; facilitate human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coercion; promote terrorism or violent extremist activity; meaningfully facilitate serious criminal activity; distribute malware or malicious code; attempt to circumvent security, moderation, age-assurance, payment, or access-control systems; scrape or systematically extract content or data without authorization; reverse engineer the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law; use the Service to train competing AI models or build a substantially competing dataset without our written permission; or infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person.

We may restrict prompts, interactions, uploads, or other activity that we reasonably believe creates safety, legal, security, or abuse risks.

8. Romantic, Mature, and Sensitive Themes

Some Anemoia experiences may contain mature themes, including romance, dating, alcohol, nightlife, gambling-themed fictional scenes, emotionally intense situations, suggestive imagery, or sexual themes. Availability of particular content may vary by account, location, age-assurance status, platform, or applicable law.

Depictions of alcohol, gambling, luxury goods, travel, relationships, or other activities are part of fictional entertainment and do not constitute encouragement, professional advice, or an offer to participate in real-world gambling or other regulated activities. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, virtual casino chips, money, collectibles, achievements, or similar items appearing inside a story have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

9. User Content

The Service may allow you to submit text, prompts, preferences, images, profile information, comments, messages, or other material (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Anemoia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify, display, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Service; generate experiences requested by you; maintain safety and security; enforce these Terms; comply with applicable law; and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit your User Content. You must not upload private, intimate, copyrighted, or personal material belonging to another person unless you have the legal right and, where necessary, that person’s consent to do so.

10. Generated Content

The Service may generate images, dialogue, stories, characters, descriptions, recommendations, or other outputs (“Generated Content”). Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use Generated Content made available to you for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we expressly provide different usage rights. Because AI systems can generate similar outputs for different users, Generated Content may not be unique. We do not guarantee that Generated Content is eligible for copyright or other intellectual-property protection in any jurisdiction.

11. Intellectual Property

The Anemoia Service, including its software, interface, design, branding, characters, fictional worlds, original narratives, graphics, audiovisual materials, databases, trademarks, and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to Anemoia and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. “Anemoia,” its logos, visual identity, and associated branding may not be used without our prior written permission.

12. Payments, Subscriptions, and Digital Content

Certain features may require payment. Prices and applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase. Depending on the product offered, payments may include recurring subscriptions; one-time purchases; credits or virtual currency; premium stories or experiences; or other digital products.

If you purchase a subscription, it may automatically renew unless you cancel it before the next billing period, where permitted by applicable law. The applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be disclosed before purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, digital content that has already been consumed, unlocked, or delivered may be non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

13. Virtual Items and Memories

Anemoia may provide virtual objects, memories, achievements, collectibles, credits, status indicators, or similar digital elements. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they exist only within the Service; they have no real-world monetary value; they are not currency or property; they cannot be exchanged for cash; they do not represent ownership of any physical object; and they may be modified or discontinued as the Service evolves.

14. Community Features

If Anemoia provides community or social functionality, you are responsible for content you choose to make visible to other users. Do not publish personal information that you do not want others to see. We may moderate, restrict, remove, or reduce the visibility of content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our safety standards. We may also provide mechanisms to report content or users.

15. Third-Party Services

Anemoia may contain integrations, links, embedded services, payment services, analytics tools, authentication providers, or other services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

16. Safety and Well-Being

Anemoia is designed as entertainment, not as a substitute for real-world relationships, professional care, or emergency assistance. If you are experiencing an emergency or believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services in your location. We may design or modify features where we reasonably believe doing so is appropriate to reduce safety, abuse, manipulation, or dependency risks.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary, including where you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms; your activity creates legal, security, safety, or fraud risks; payment is reversed or fraudulent; we are required to do so by law; or continued provision of the Service is no longer reasonably possible. Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice and an opportunity to appeal or obtain information about our decision.

You may stop using Anemoia at any time and may request deletion of your account through the available account controls or by contacting us.

18. Changes to the Service

Anemoia is an evolving product. We may add, remove, modify, replace, or discontinue features, characters, stories, interfaces, pricing models, or other elements of the Service. Where a change materially affects a paid service or your legal rights, we will provide notice where required by law.

19. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or uninterrupted; every experience will be error-free; generated content will be accurate or consistent; any particular character, story, memory, or feature will remain permanently available; or the Service will meet every user’s expectations. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anemoia and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Anemoia harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or User Content that infringes another person’s rights. This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.

22. Governing Law and Disputes
